Anthropologie Co-Op | Summer 2025

[Product Design, Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Trend Forecasting]

This summer, I worked at Anthropologie’s Home Office in Philadelphia on the Tabletop Design team. Here, I contributed to the Fall 2026 collection, designing across packaging, barware, dinnerware, and bakeware while supporting the team in developing new concepts. My work involved trend forecasting, market research, and prototyping, which allowed me to explore how design decisions translate into both aesthetic and functional outcomes. I collaborated with cross-functional partners in lighting, furniture, buying, and production, gaining insight into the collaborative process required to bring a collection from concept to market. Through this experience, I learned how small design details can have a significant impact on the customer experience. Being at Anthropologie was both a professional milestone and a personal dream come true—an inspiring opportunity to contribute to a brand I’ve admired for years and a reminder of why I love design.

Check out my personal project from Anthropologie, titled “Springtime in NOLA”, a dinnerware and barware set inspired by a weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana (PROJECT TO BE UPLOADED!):

My designs for Spring 2026, Summer 2026, and Fall 2026 have yet to be released, and therefore remain confidential property of Anthropologie. Check back in as these products move their way onto the shelves! If you have any questions, reach me at hoffmae7@mail.uc.edu. Thanks!

Product Prototyping

Developed and refined prototypes to explore form, material, and finish, allowing ideas to move from sketch to tangible product while informing design decisions.

Understanding Brand Identity

Learned how to design within Anthropologie’s distinct aesthetic, balancing creativity with the brand’s functional, commercial, and stylistic goals.
